Preparation [Survey]

IntroductionYour self-confidence is best when you are prioritizing work that predominately utilises your natural strengths/talents. The survey below is to provide insight into the percentage of time you spend focused on these strengths/talents, and what other activities are necessary for the specific role.The outcome of this survey should provide your strengths focal point for a new role, (either selecting a similar role to previous or pivoting accordingly), irrespective of the market conditions. Where you have potential knowledge gaps look at how you can close these in the short term.For anyone interested in Coaching, your answers would form the basis of initial discussions, which we will build on to strengthen your potential to excellence.

About Me

I am a professional leader with over 15 years of managerial experience, working with different sized teams, across various sized businesses, from start-ups to the big international corporates working on simplifying complexity to achieve optimum results.The world today is throwing so much more at us to solve at an exhausting pace. Some of us can thrive in this environment, but for the majority it’s difficult navigating. What skills do I have that are transferrable, should I always be completing training to upscale my skills, how do I become a specialist but also a generalist? My “soft skills” need more work, but I thought you wanted technical expertise?During my 1:1s with team members over the years, I realised that although most of us understand our strengths and weaknesses, we don’t necessarily focus on our key attributes to achieve the outcomes set for us. If you are not predominately using your strengths & continuously learning how to stretch them further, you cannot be excelling to your ultimate potential. With my teams, I was able to recognise these strengths & interests of individuals and align their scope accordingly. In the most extreme cases this took a perceived under achiever to a recognised Top Performer.I consider coaching as my next chapter, where I can utilise my collaborative support, allowing you to strengthen your potential to reach beyond what you feel is possible.
